The called sucked but it didn't matter, they were already toast. Pitt did the classy thing by running out the clock and not tacking on style points. As a ND fan you should rejoice that this is Frontbutt's last year.

What you should be more worried about is what kind of team you'll have next year.

Whoever the coach is should have the leverage to un-fuck that defense and rebuild the cupboard that FUPA's departure is going to leave empty (again)...

Sorry, it's the first time I've seen a fumble where a QBs arm was coming forward and the ball wasn't a complete duck I can see if it was called a fumble from the get go and then confirmed, but from the few times they showed the replay it sure didn't seem like inconclusive evidence.

When I looked at the play, I saw clearly that the ball was whacked forward and away by the defensive player and Clausen's hand and arm went along for the ride. That's what I saw, though I'll acknowledge I'm not very objective when I watch Notre Dame play football.
