EXACTLY.

Please appreciate ****-humor.

Edit: Those asterisks are for m-e-t-a. That gets censored? WTF?

It gets censored because it's a web tag that could possibly be used maliciously.

As for pictures of one's pets, one of my FB friends has a big photo album of her pet cat and two dogs entitled "Kids" and she refers to them as her "kids" (ever replies from her female FB friends refer to them as "your kids"). I know she probably can't have kids of her own, but, come on now...

 Yeah, anytime someone calls their pets "kids", I just laugh and think, those "kids" are probably babied so much, they are little pieces of shit to everyone else.

What's the blue & white tube thingy?
Catit Design Senses Play Circuit

They love chasing the motion-activated light ball, but the original version would have been better. The hills in this model slow things down a bit.

They were originally from a breeder. I love Bengals but would much rather rescue kitties who need it than buy, especially when it might be a backyard breeder who doesn't treat them right. The family who did buy them didn't know much about cats, and Bengals are not a good fit for a first-timer. It sounded like the little boy loved them, poor little dude, but the dad was scared of them (couldn't tell playing from attacking), and the mom was rather indifferent, and they said the kittens just never warmed up to them. I gave them a couple hundred for the car full of cat trees and equipment and kept the kitties from being separated, which is good because they are totally bonded and will walk around trilling the moment they lose track of each other. I don't know their history, but I do remember seeing a Craigslist ad for a pair of kittens a couple of months ago that said they were an unplanned litter and the breeder wasn't going to bother with papers. They were adorable, and I remembered that picture for a long time afterward, but I didn't go for it. I think those are now my kittens.

They're both settled in now, funnily enough going from tentative to playful the moment my niece and nephew walked in and started making a ruckus over them. They love all the loud noise!

The boy is a little more reserved but loves to play and is okay with pets for a short time. He's super sweet and dotes on his tiny sister, unless they are arguing over baths. He is one speedy red dot champion, loves dragging toys off to his lair, and is a master stalker. He can take ten minutes to slooowly sneak across the room with impressive slow-motion muscle ripples to watch the birds at my feeder. His nemesis is Squirrel Who Turns His Back, because Oh No He Di'n't.

His little sister is a real stinker who is going straight through the list of Things Bengals Do. She's opened closets, climbed into dressers and visited all the drawers, jumped up on everything no matter how precarious the route, surfed the shutter blinds, and is figuring out the light switches and how to pull the stopper out of the bathroom sink. She vamps with a purr and high pony prance steps when she wants something, and will dive into your hand for skritches. Her favorite jump move is surprise-sideways-cannonball and she never plans the landing spot. She is why my Amazon orders page is full of cabinet locks, wire straps, outlet covers, sticky paws paper, clicker training guides, and assorted other cat-proofing items. I think we are having a contest, me and my tiny Pixel.

I am having so much fun it's ridiculous.

Edit: Don't worry, I won't write missives about them every day. Probably.
