I actually like every one of those matchups. Maybe except Alabama-Boise State, only because I feel Alabama is so much better than them.

I think Ohio State would match up really well against Stanford. Maybe it's just me but I like our young secondary bringing the heat against Luck and co.

Interesting.

Boise would get their wish. And I think Bama would beat them by 40.

Only thing is, think they would want an Oklahoma/Nebraska matchup?

fify Just sayin', I think Bama not being in the SECCG or BCSCG might lead to them looking to the draft instead of Boise. They sure collapsed in the Sugar against Urban's team when their shot at the NC was lost.

Those would be excellent matchups. Given all that's happened during the offseason, tOSU going to the rose bowl would make me pretty damn proud. Boise State would get murdered = win. Say for the sake of argument, that Stanford and Oklahoma State both finish unbeaten. Who would you rather see face LSU in the NC? I think Stanford would matchup better.

I actually think it would be a bit lower scoring than that. BSU's D ain't bad, it might actually be the 2nd or 3rd best D 'Bama would face. The real question is whether Moore could move the ball against the Tide D at all.

For the record OSU is a homer pick...but I think if they make it to the CG they beat Nebraska handily in the rematch. I also think Nebraska would get picked over Oregon as an at large...especially since the Fiesta gets the first choice.

I'd much rather see Stanford play for the title (since I went to school there) but I think they drop one (but still with the Pac) while Okie St gets past the Sooners (they get them at home).

If Nebraska wins the rest of their regular season conference games I don't think a CG loss would drop them below 14.

I've had OK State over LSU in the title game all year long, no reason to change now (won't mention any of my other preseason picks)

Title game: OK State over LSU
Rose: Stanford over Michigan State
Sugar: Bama over Boise St
Orange: Clemson over Cincy
Fiesta: Wisconsin over Oklahoma

Absolutely. Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Penn State.. maybe Iowa - they all have big fan-bases, which is possibly more important than on-field performance when it comes to at-large. But each of those teams needs to win out in order to qualify (top 12 in final BCS standings) (edit - top 14 - thanks BB73). Maybe Michigan State, too.

I don't think it will happen. Enough of those teams still play each other that there will be some losses.

The at-large teams in AQ conferences need to have 9 wins and be in the BCS top-14 in order to be eligible for BCS selection.

Without winning the CCG, tOSU has no chance of making a BCS bowl. Unranked with 3 games left, won't be able to get high enough to survive a CCG loss.

Sparty could possibly win out, and lose to tOSU in the CCG while still getting an at-large.

Same goes for Michigan and Nebraska.

Wisky/Penn State are fucked unless tOSU loses. In that case, Penn State could possibly lose to Wisky, but win the other two games and go to the CCG, allowing Wisky to snag an at large with only 2 conference losses.

Ugh.

Go Bucks. Win out. That is all.
