The Buckeyes might be very much alive with this recruit. He made officials to Indiana and ttun and did not commit. Might be coming to Ohio State for an official during football season and you know what they say about getting them on campus. Caveat might be keeping the bluebloods away.

ttun, indiana, and...??? either our fanbase or iowa's will be happy in about 24 hours, but my guess is the winner will ultimately be let down in about 2 to 4 months.

on one hand, you can't be in the top 1 if you're not in the top 3. on the other hand, i'm not at all expecting for osu to come out on top, so i'd rather the staff have a clearer picture tomorrow than a murkier picture for the next few months. i guess i'm just looking for the silver lining in the event carton drops us tomorrow.

Carton has mentioned an intention of officially visiting OSU sometime in August/September. If we do in fact make his Final 3 and no blue bloods come swooping in, it definitely does not hurt that we might get his last OV as he has already taken this OVs to scUM and IU.

can't recall where i read it and i can't attest to its veracity, but it's been reported that carton wants to commit before the start of the school year, which for him is the final week of august. getting him in for an official on a football saturday would undoubtedly be ideal, though.

This could be the Vonn Bell recruit of the CH hoops era. Now, he’s not a southern kid but he is an out of state kid and someone, like Bell, who seems like a long shot and yet could become a Buckeye and help start a domino effect.

That’s my pipe dream anyway. Hahahaha.
