I love how he instantly runs back into the play.

I think I've watched that gif at least a hundred times. I don't like saying I have a "favorite" Buckeye, but.... :)

and adding in this play where the refs incorrectly called him out of bounds......clearly he did not have any body part touching OB while he was touching the ball......the kid is simply a phenomenal athlete with incredible eye-hand coordination and quick reflexes. Quickly moving up my "all time favorite OSU BB player" scale. Wow.

You know how you go on vacation for a week and relish that Monday and Tuesday thinking about how much time you have left on vacation? Then you wake up on Wednesday and realize that it's halfway over and get a little sad?

Yeah. It's almost Wednesday in Aaron Craft's OSU basketball career. :(

God, I love this kid.

As an FYI, he's actually hustling back to get on offense. His save resulted in a secondary break where he got the ball back and tried to lob it over the top to DeShaun, but it was stolen.

The play was sick, but if it resulted in an alley oop, it'd have been the top play on SportsCenter.

Has anyone noticed that he sticks his arm completely through the two shooting arms of the man he is guarding? I mean I've heard of hand in the face, but he seems to put his entire arm through there without fouling. I never really noticed him doing it before the last couple of games. It's amazing to me that he can do it without ever getting called for the foul.

What I like is that he plays defense with his hands out in front. Most guys have their arms at their sides and when they make a play on the ball they have to move their arm at least 2 feet to get to the ball. Craft has his hand right there so if the ballhandler makes a mistake he only has to move his hand about 6 inches to make a play on the ball most of the time.

His defensive technique and instincts are off the chart. Add in that he is willing to do for 40 minutes what most players won't do for 5 and you get exceptional.

this was a tactic i used, too. my vertical wasn't so great, so i would try to put my hand right in front of the player's eyes. it's very effective. i wish more perimeter players would try this. of course, very few players have craft's eye-hand coordination.

i've noticed craft employing this maneuver more recently, too. though i have no clue, i wouldn't be surprised if this tactic had been advised by paulus or merely added by craft. i used to go to bed thinking about different ways to pass the ball. craft probably goes to bed thinking about different ways to steal the ball or to interrupt the offensive player's rhythm.

i don't know what craft's future beyond college basketball holds, but he would make an awesome coach.
