As long as you mean his role is ball handling, defense, passing, driving, jump shooting, and an occassional rebound then yes, great role player.

I'm not sure people understand that when I call him a combo guard, that's the same as saying he's a player that can play PG and the 2. I never said he couldn't play the point. He has been a good/great role player at the PG position this year. Defense has been his most important contribution to this team.

Personally, I absolutely love watching Cheese play. Did I hear the announcers say that Matta indicated that Cheese has the greatest/fastest lateral movement of any player he has ever coached? If so, that says a lot.

This thread is to be used to celebrate a kid having an awesome freshman year not for you to defend what you said or didn't say at the start of the year about what his true position should be...just let it go man as nobody has brought your name up the past few posts from what I can tell and even if they had just let it go!!

I'm hoping that he'll see that youtube and learn the same lesson that I learned many years ago, after I got a little carried away at karaoke one night and had the tape recording of it played at a business meeting the next day. :!

I read that the videos were created by Ohio State and were meant to be played at halftime and leaked out early. Apparently there are a few more of the other players that will be released soon.

lighty has proven himself over and over as an elite defender, but i'm coming around to the idea that craft is our best defender. that is saying a lot. i think opposing coaches will be voting aaron to first team all-defense.

Agreed. Not as lengthy as Lighty but the way he harrasses the opponent, the shot is always contested...if their pocket isn't picked first. Craft is simply a pleasure to watch.
