Here's hoping Kyle is a go for today's game. We are going to need his energy and leadership to beat IA!

A giant Big Ten showdown is on deck for today between No. 9 Iowa and No. 4 Ohio State in Columbus. Both programs are coming off a mid-week and will look to get back on track on the last day of February. The Buckeyes, losers of two-straight, were without a significant role player in their loss at Michigan State Thursday, as senior forward Kyle Young suffered a concussion in last Sunday’s loss to Michigan.

According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Young is a game-time decision for Ohio State, per Buckeyes head coach Chris Holtmann. The head coach confirmed earlier this week the concussion stemmed from a player Young collided with Wolverine guard Mike Smith on an inbound pass with nine seconds left on Sunday. Young remained on the floor for a minute or two and even once he got up, took his time walking to the other end of the court. Young stayed in the game for the remaining few possessions and remained with his team to sing the alma mater after the final buzzer.
