Well this is a bit of good news. Royal was really a guy we needed to get in-state and that has been far from a given lately. Really happy to have him on board.

Ohio State 2023 Signee Devin Royal Named Ohio Mr. Basketball
Pickerington Central product and 2023 Ohio State signee Devin Royal was named Ohio Mr. Basketball on Wednesday.
OHIO STATE 2023 SIGNEE DEVIN ROYAL NAMED OHIO MR. BASKETBALL
Devin Royal was crowned Ohio Mr. Basketball on Wednesday.
The Pickerington Central senior and 2023 Ohio State men's basketball signee earned 90 votes from the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association to beat out last year's winner, Centerville guard Gabe Cupps, for the honor.
Royal is just the 12th Buckeye to win the Ohio Mr. Basketball honor and the first since Malaki Branham in 2021.

Devin Royal and Pickerington just beat Centerville in the state semifinal 57-53. Royal and Cupps both played well.

Diebeler was one, I know that. And William Buford I believe? I would also think Sullinger. Beyond that, the others may not have been in my lifetime watching OSU ball. Great accomplishment for Mr. Royal though, excited to see him in S&G next year.
