Name a game-changing play Peppers made in a big game.

Is that fair? TTUN social media has been setting the bar much lower than that lately. “Big Play in a Losing Effort” is more their speed.

I know that’s a poor standard for a 5-star recruit, but this is TTUN we’re talking about. They seem to want to be judged on a different curve

Rutgers is your time to shine under the Harbaugh regime. Everything else is just a mirage.

Doesn’t matter...any time somebody is a first round NFL pick it’s hard to argue he’s a bust. You could say he underperformed after being a top 5 prospect in his hs class, but don’t think that’s fair. I absolutely hated that the Browns drafted him as much as the next guy, but still don’t think you can argue. For what it’s worth, I also think he had a better college career than Gary as well but that shows how much I think Gary sucked after being such a “can’t miss” prospect

That's BS, Trent Richardson, Marcus Mariota, Kevin White, and EJ Manuel are all former 1st round picks, and all are correctly labeled as busts. If you are drafted in the 1st round and make little impression on the field for your respective team, than you're a bust, point blank.
Jabrill Peppers, was a classic tweener who's skill set didn't fit the teams in the NFL he played for. Peppers was drafted to set the tone for the back end of the Browns, and didn't come close to doing that as he doesn't have a true position, as scUM never developed him properly. Is he a S, a LB(a KR/PR), no one knew, so that put him everywhere making him decent at multiple positons, and not great at any. The only reason he had a better career than Gary is because Hairball and Brown kept throwing him around to every position they could, almost like a poor man's Charles Woodson. But even Charles had a clear position.

You’re mistaking what I said. Busts in the NFL, but it’s college production that matters in these comments. To say that Peppers didn’t have a solid career at TTUN is insane. I dislike the guy too and again was pissed the Browns drafted him, but he had a solid college career. All of those players you listed had great college careers again the statement was college production. The question was who of those players on their latest “Players did anything at Michigan”, and I stand by my choice that 4 of those players actually had decent careers.

Set aside the hype and ignore whatever they did against the Indiana’s....you want to to judge a tsun player’s career you simply ask what impact they had on The Game.

Peppers was a tick above replacement level.

what’s more, a lot of people here openly discussed his lack of hips to cover and size to play the run while he was in college. Forget the NFL, we knew he couldn’t do that.

point being, Peppers did squat in his college career except play a lot of positions very averagely.

That’s ridiculous and I’ll agree to disagree. I just want to one more time reiterate, the question was college career, not against Ohio State or NFL career.

Peppers was a five star who managed to record 119 tackles 18.5 for a loss with 3 sacks and a single INT in a 3 year career.
As a novelty item on offense he managed 239 yards on 45 carries with 5 scores along with 10 catches for 82 yards in 3 years.
He averaged 13.1 yards on punt returns with a TD and 26.8 yards on 18 career kick returns.

You think that's five star production?

I do in the fact that albeit very hyped, he was 5th in Heisman and came out as the 25th pick in the 2017 draft. His production was terrible because as somebody else stated TTUN didn’t use him effectively at all on defense. Some people need to take off their Ohio State glasses

What's ridiculous about it? You're spouting his Heisman votes, I'll see that and raise you his one (1) college career INT.

One is media driven, one is on the field performance.

You think you ever hear his name if he played at Indiana?

It's not my glasses that inform my opinion about Peppers being a college bust
