People to Punch, Pet Peeves, and General Vexations (mega-merge)

I'd cut her some slack if she could do wheelies on the scooter...otherwise, out she goes.
The woman that does this on a regular basis is this woman that lives in the section 8 housing projects across the street. She looks like she's in her mid to late 20's at the most and has two sons that look like they could be teenagers. If there's more than one scooter available one of them will take it (and fight over it if the two of them are there) and if there's only one available they'll fight her for it and end up taking turns. We're not allowed to say anything to them. Our director is spineless and afraid of someone complaining to corporate.

I'm both grateful I don't have kids yet, and sad to imagine this is what will await them.....

Thankfully though, that article states Indiana was the first state to withdraw from the Common Core program, let's hope Ohio is next.

Wife and I both struggle to figure out what the hell our son is doing on his pre-algebra and geometry homework. The basic, introductory stuff like graphing a straight line or calculating surface areas of 2D shapes have become tortuous three hour nightmares of back-and-forth yelling as he defends his consistently wrong answers by saying, "the teacher taught us to do it this way!" We know he's not a dummy. Wife has figured out he can do his work in less time and with more consistently correct results by telling him to ignore his teacher and follow methods she remembers from 20 years ago.

What's up with Money Machines at Banks these days....I don't want to buy Stamps ok, just give me my fucking money or take my deposit without asking me 30 questions. I come for convenience and quickness. Otherwise if I wanted to go through this much effort, I would go to the teller....

Actually the teller is faster.

I'm in education, and I hear this a lot. If Dryden Jr. Ever needs Spanish help, send me a PM.

I took this picture last Friday. Guy decided to park where there is no parking spot. Handicapped tag, but he's obviously not handicapped. (He walked into the building with no limp at all.) But I guess that isn't bad - maybe it's his wife's/mother's/whatever's handicapped tag. He isn't parked in a parking spot, though. And it isn't like there were no parking spots. I found 5 just to the right of the picture. But if I was driving anything bigger than what I was, it might have been harder to do with this turd blocking a third of the aisle.

As someone who drives a truck, I hate shit like this. It can take away my angle for backing up. Nothing like a thirty seven point turn.

Just another person who thinks they are special and the world revolves around them...rules are for others...as is societal etiquette..
