Whoever the fuck in the HOA decided to not renew the contract with Brighthouse for cable services! Only found out while checking my credit card and seeing a $172 pending charge instead of the normal $40 for the sports package and higher internet tier. However, Brighthouse had better hope the HOA did indeed break the contract and that they didn't just fuck up a renewal of service. I am pissed right now. I rent our house, but the HOA fee is $355 of the monthly rent.

Most likely a contract switch. You need to contact the owner of the unit and find out. Not sure about central Florida, but down here HotWire/Fision is getting many association contracts due to the higher speed internet included in their packages. Yeah, I'm gonna swing by the clubhouse tomorrow first and see if anyone from the management company is at the desk (still probably less than 75% built out, so still under developer control, so Lennar/ICON) to confirm that they really did break the contract. Comcast and Verizon/Frontier websites still show that they don't service my address, so I'm more than likely still stuck with Brighthouse no matter what. If they did, I'll be comparing my discounted rate for a bundle through work against discounted internet and Playstation Vue, since Brighthouse still hasn't put BTN on the regular tiers (extra $11/month, but I do sometimes watch the additional sports channels besides BTN).
Yeah, I was really miffed that there was no notice apparently given. They know I live at the residence, not the owner, as I get the email newsletter and they've called me about stuff before. Only thing I can think of is the owner still gets mail in his name from the management company, but I still don't open it since that is technically illegal to do, but I have a feeling there may be notice in one of those envelopes.
Ugh. Toss in another $300-500 for new tires and there goes my attempt at keeping spending down this month.

HOA's.....biggest crock of crap. For work sometimes I have to get them to send me their bylaws and most try to charge me $50 for them to email me a copy of their PDF......

If it were possible to find new construction down here that isn't part of an HOA I would be on it like white on rice, but I've yet to see that in 6 years here. They are indeed a giant load of crap, but our current one does have its advantages still.

People who have dogs that they cannot control. I love my dog and I trained him well. He can walk without a leash when I desire and I have him under control at all times. I come across these people all the time out walking their dogs or their dogs are not contained in their yard and they just have no control of them. TRAIN your DOG. It is not their fault. Don't get dogs that are too much for you to handle and especially don't get two of them if you can't control one.

We order office supplies from OfficeMart about every week. Well, apparently nobody needed office supplies this time around, except for one person who requested some 0.5mm lead for his mechanical pencil.

Dear VMAs, you suck. Nobody fucking cares. The next person on any part of the VMA's that has talent, will be the first. Please get off of 5 fucking channels. You don't need to be on MTV, VH1, BET, Comedy Central and Spike. You don't need to be on any but if you insist, just be on one and leave the rest of normal TV alone.
Just to be clear, I don't watch BET for anything. I don't watch VH1 for anything. I don't watch MTV unless Ridiculousness is on because I like to watch people get fucked up on home videos. I watch Spike whenever COPS is on because COPS is fucking amazing. Comedy Central has it's moments. Regardless, whatever programming is on any of those channels, is better than whether or not some no talent ass clown named Drake wins best hip hop video...because I'm not 13 years old and I have a brain.
