It's still a better job than LSU. Who is going to want to have their career defined by their ability to navigate the unrealistic expectations and political meddling of that job.

Now, as the Governor of one of the poorest states in the country and a relatively poor school for a state flagship, that Governor should have better things to do. The fact that he doesn't speaks volumes to the warped culture around LSU.

I agree with your logic but this is from a place where people are doing more than talking, they are speculating on it with $ so I thought it interesting

Franklin seemed like a decent guy whose players respected him and who didn't throw them under the bus. Kelly is Franklin's gameday coaching ability wrapped in an utterly loathsome human being.
