For a while we had a superstition about watching football at my brother's house. It was bad luck. But it's just selected memory, right?
So he invited me over to watch that game. He had a million people over. I got there just as the game was starting. No one was watching. No one. I turned the TV on and some kid I didn't know (about 12 years old) sat down next to me. Just us watching with a house full of people. Eventually his dad came in and asked what he was watching. Then he left to go poop, or something. A few people came, sat down, then got up and went poop, or whatever.
Eventually, it was 26-14... not much time to go. Eff this... I'm going home. I live about 5 minutes away, if the lights are all red. Spoiler - they're always red.
I got home just after Victor's touchdown reception. I watched the rest of the game the way I watched the beginning of the game: pretty much alone. But this time, no one was bugging me about what the score was.

For me, that was one I watched in the middle of the night from a hotel room on a marriage retreat in Germany. Almost feel bad for my wife trying to sleep next to me. I also had to drive back home that Sunday afternoon on the minimal sleep, about a 4-5 hour drive. Thankfully they won and made it all worth it.
