not this one?
Not to quibble.... but....
This is the actual moment.
I wouldn't say I was a Joe Paterno fan before all this, but I would say that I thought he was a good guy. I bought into the whole narrative that they created: His players graduate. He doesn't get paid much, and what he does get paid, he donates to the university. All good guy stuff. Since this all happened 13 years ago, I've learned that the things I knew about him were just what they wanted me to know.Even those who weren't Joe Paterno fans recognized the injustices leveled against him by an uninformed media and a fiduciary irresponsible BOT.
I am "WE." I am sane. You are "you" and "cuckoo," but not "we."
I've more than made up for your lack of donations, and attendance and interest has rebounded ... as if you aren't missed in the least. No one cares about your wrong-minded protest which, if successful, would do nothing but hurt even more kids. Luckily, your cult-like hero worship wasn't able to be successful, long-term. No one wants you in their beav.
“no one wants you in their beav”!Alright... I haven't been over to any of their boards for a week or so. Let's see what they have cookin'.
Here's an interesting one:
The thread started yesterday (2/6/2025). This is 13 years after all the shit hit the fan over there. They are still crying about how "Penn State threw Joe under the bus".![]()
Who are "WE"? - On3
I graduated from Penn State, and have two children who did as well. But I haven't sent PSU a penny since they threw Joe under the bus, and never will again. I root for the football team and I've been verbally supportive of the HC, but I don't write any checks to support them. I watch on TV, and...www.on3.com
Some good posts - none stand out over the others enough to post. Except this one:
