Anyone see their schedule for next year? It’s a freaking joke.

Trash games outside of two (OSU/Oregon) and for those two games they get BYE weeks before them.

Seriously did they get to make their own schedule? What a fucking joke.

Going to be hilarious when they still can’t get through it and to the title game

It's not like OSU's is tough outside of the 1st and last game...

And its actually not wise to try and predict a schedule so far out. Going into this season, most thought Colorado would go .500, heck most thought scUM would also go .500. What will be interesting for Ped St, is Franklin is now giving the entire defense to Knowles. And its a defense with a bunch of questions. Does he have the S talent of Downs and Ransom? Does he have DL to force maximum pressure with only 4? Does he have the talent to play the Jack, and have LBs used primarily for stopping the run? Will they be fine with Knowles not recruiting?

they’d be much better off spending that money on a capable and steady QB and a competent QB coach.

a $3 mio FU to ohio state seems is a yoked move… worthy of only the inbred jackholes in state college.
How often has PSU not had a good to great DC?

How often has PSU had someone who knows how to call a play or manage the clock down the stretch in big games?

How often has PSU had a QB better than Kyle McCord?

Rarely, which makes the first one an odd place to spend your dough.

Penn State trying to follow UM and OSU model and are going all in for next season… it’s going to be extremely funny when they still fail because they 1) aren’t cheating their asses off to gain a massive momentum and confidence boost like UM 2) don’t have nearly the talent as Ohio State across the board (if arguably in some positions) and 3) have a coach that is the best in the businesses at losing big games.

Do they have a succession plan without Carter? Because things became very average when he was out. The portal can change things quickly, but they were surprisingly average upfront outside of Abdul. (anyone would have a dropoff, but they usually have dudes upfront)

The year after you lose your best offensive and defensive players isn’t usually considered the best time to go all in for a championship.

Just sayin
James Franklin as your head coach isn’t the best time to go all in for a championship, either.

You have more than a decade of experience with how this is going to go, especially
because

they are almost certainly going to have massive holes in their roster, even with their retention “wins”

not just with depth, but with starting roles as well, and hell, who amongst them watched Allar against ND and is filled with confidence he’s the guy to lead their “all in” season?
