Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Ped St at #1 is both hilarious and foolish(putting it mildly) all at once. Allar is in no way an NC caliber QB, and depending on 2 RBs to be the entire offense isn't a recipe for winning it all unless you have a lights out defense(which they don't), an amazing OL(they have a very good but not great-amazing), and a QB who doesn't make mistakes()

I think he's making some leaps comparing PSU to TTUN 2 years ago and tOSU this year, but I understand his logic. PSU better find some elite WR's and fill all the holes on defense before next season if they want to have a chance. They lose their best player on each side of the ball, which is going to be hard to replace. It will just make us look better when we beat his top 2 teams.

You cannot disprove the FACT that Ohio State would have gone 8-4, and missed the playoff, and fired Ryan Day, because of the refs.
1. if it is a "fact", then no one can disprove it.
2. I don't concede that it is a "fact", as there is no way to prove it.
Here is his argument: Some nerd "stood up" and got a taunting penalty - I would say that it was more deserving a penalty than the Texas tight end, who also deserved his penalty. Fumble by Judkins was overturned - I think it was silly to have let the play run out, it was clearly not a fumble. "Egregious uncalled DPI" by Downs on that 4th down stop - my memory was that Downs was covering Warren, but that may be wrong. Either way, both sides had multiple plays that could have been called PI and weren't. I don't know that that play is one of them.

This guy gets it:
It's not a fact--you're wrong in claiming they would have lost those games.
Dead wrong
This is why Penn State fans have the reputation that they do

Their transfer WRs are from Troy(he actually is pretty talented and had a very good season last year) and USC(average career and is essentially no better than the guys who left). Losing Warren is massive to Allar who is not very accurate, and needed a big target to make his erratic throws look decent.

The Penn State receiver room is in transition, as that unit's top two producers from 2024 have transferred out following a collective no-catch performance for the position group in an Orange Bowl playoff semifinal loss. Weeks before Omari Evans and Harrison Wallace made their program exit, the Nittany Lions landed a pair of transfer pickups at the position.

Former Troy standout Devonte Ross followed USC transfer Kyron Hudson into Penn State's 2025 transfer receiver class, and both are now officially on board with the program. They joins an offense in which running back Nick Singleton carries the most career catches and only one receiver owns double-digit receptions in a Nittany Lions uniform.

White is a familiar name from the Class of 2022 that yielded Penn State's best class of the past few cycles. He was the No. 38 overall prospect out of Philadelphia Imhotep and picked Texas A&M. But he battled injuries and was fighting for playing time in a deep room with the Aggies. He had 11 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and one pass breakup in his career before departing Texas A&M.
And losing Abdul Carter on that DL will be even bigger, you don't just replace a top 10 pick out of the blue. Enai White was a part of the much ballyhooed 2022 aTM recruiting class. After producing very little he now transfers back to his home state.

As someone who lives in Pennsylvania….they’re as little brother as it fucking gets. Undeniable please-look-at-me energy.
