Thread starts with people saying that *ichigan should get all the punishments that Penn State got, except *ichigan is actually guilty. It devolves into "Joe was railroaded" and all the expected stuff. One guy I don't recognize is saying, "Yeah, Penn State really did cover this up."

I'm not really sure what his point is. Is he saying *ichigan is a cult? I think he's calling Penn State a cult. I'm not sure if he's been executed, yet. If he's calling *ichigan a cult, then that's awesome. If he's calling Penn State a cult, then he's giving me a little nugget of hope that maybe... just maybe... the fanbase doesn't need to be nuked.

The last line about "Zig" means he's talking about the Joesus Cult. Pretty sure that's a reference to John Ziegler, who has been on a decade long crusade to prove Sandusky innocent, but I think he's just actually grifting them.

For example, one indisputable fact is that the root cause of Jerry's current situation is due to Jerry's actions and choices. He willingly put himself in compromising situations even after being warned. If he does not behave in this manner there is no scandal. This cannot logically be denied.

However, Jerry is the last person in which the cult members find any fault. To do so would cause the entire house of cards to fall. He is as pure as the driven snow and as innocent as a newborn baby. That is the only way any of the others can be cleared.

That's what I've been saying all along. If Sandusky is innocent, then no one else can be in trouble, including (most importantly) Coach Joe Paterno. Put the statue back up and give us our stolen money back.

And, in response to the above post:
I agree that Jerry made bad decisions that left him open to false accusations.

I don't know why anyone would want to work with kids these days. Too many land mines even for people with no bad intentions.
