I was impressed with Bill O' Buttchin in his comments at the rally and after the game, placing the blame on himself and the coaching staff. What was sad to watch was the Penn State team quit in the 4th quarter. They have no depth now and will have even less as the season goes forward.

If he is smart, everything he does between now and whenever he gets fired will be focused on how he is going to make his pitch at the next job interview without talking about his W-L record.

O'Brien is in a no win situation so it's good he has a nice extended contract but I hope his mental health can handle the stress of this year. There will be calls for his firing pretty quickly I think. It will just get uglier.
