Joyner, O'Brien, Franklin, etc....not until a version of the narrative that fits my perverted sensibilities is uncovered will I trust a damn thing coming from that school.
Those mutants never cease to amaze me.
How long until Franklin gets fed up with their lunatic fanbase and bolts for something better? He's been doing his very best to pander to the cult, and they're already turning on him 6 games in. O'Brien always had an eye for the NFL, but his statements before leaving indicate he was beyond fed up with the fanbase after just two seasons. The ghost of Dear Leader, and the cults never ending worship of it, is going to prevent that program from ever moving on and becoming a solid program on it's own merits.
That's...vivid.I love the "uncover the truth" crap that they spew. It should be "uncover what we want you to uncover and report that or we'll go hide in our basements and keep our pee in jars and say nasty things about you on the internets, while we imagine what Kate Winslet's underpants smell like and try to remember how great it was in 1982 when our beloved Joesus was beating on Rutgers."
It reminds me of Hitchcock's film Rebecca: An innocent young woman is courted by the master of a vast estate. He persuades her to marry him, and takes her home to a creepy old mansion that's being maintained as a shrine by the crazy housekeeper who can't get past her unhealthy devotion to her deceased former mistress.
The owner of the manse can introduce all the new wives he wants to the place, but whoever she is, and however diligently she tries, she'll never match up to the ghost of Joebecca, and lunatic housekeeper makes sure she knows it. It can only end in tears, with the new wife being encouraged to fling herself off the balcony in despair over her hopeless inadequacy.
The only chance anyone there has of ever living a healthy, normal life is if the housekeeper goes up in flames with the mansion.
The Happy Valley movie is coming out. Here is one of the quotes from the trailer:

It's unclear if this is Scripture from the Book of Joesus or just hyperbole from the director of the film. It's not anywhere in section 4 verse 10
Our friends at BWI have taken notice and are offering feedback to the makers of the film https://bwi.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=36&tid=175638684&mid=175638684&sid=890&style=2
Way worse culture exists at other universities? How much worse can you get? Is there ritualistic sacrifice being covered up somewhere?11995

Or maybe the cult of football at all universities..........Reply
"But it's not just about Penn State. It's also about the deification of
American sports heroes, and the compromised relationship between a
billion-dollar sports industry and the universities that enable it."
It's the biggest beef I've had with the "culture" criticisms toward PSU. People who ride their high horse and accuse PSU of having a 'culture that allowed this' are missing the mark. If they want to take that approach, they should be looking at the culture of football in America. If they think that same (actually way worse) culture doesn't exist at other universities, then they are fooling themselves. PSU just happened to be the unlucky one to draw the Sandusky straw.

They have a lengthy list of people they'd like to see face-down in a swimming pool.
There are comparisons to so many classic films, guess it's just proof of how epically crazy they are.
