I didn't even know it was happening until ORD said something here....but when I ventured over there it apparently was supposed to be an open forum for people to get answers as to what happened with the whole consent decree. Knowing that people who make money and hold elected jobs don't like being ousted from those jobs, I figure it'll be a bunch of hemming and hawing with no answers being given and the BWI crew flipping their shit.

Question: Should we file a class action against the BOT?

I believe the time has come for us to seriously consider a class action against the 11/9/11 BOT and the current membership who continue to damage PSU's (and by extension) all of our reputations.

Since 11/9/11, many of us have been subject to verbal abuse in our communities simply for wearing a PSU t-shirt or for having PSU logos on our cars.

Both of my cars had mirrors smashed off of them right after the grand jury presentment was released. Many of other alums have had their cars keyed and their property vandalized.

All of this could have been avoided if the 11/9/11 BOT had stood up for PSU instead of knuckling under.

Ha. Lawsuit.
1. Do people's reputations REALLY get linked to where they went to school, or the teams they root for? About 12 years ago, there was national news about a guy who went into a building on the campus where I graduated and shot a couple of people. I never felt that my reputation was affected.
2. Have fun proving that the vandalism is caused by people out to damage property with PSU stickers and tags.
3. What does the grand jury presentment have to do with what the BOT did? If they fought the consent decree, or refused to fire Joesus, do they think that it would have saved their property from being vandalized?

I just realized something. Say the NCAA collapses under its own weight in the next 2 years. Or even 5 years or 10 years or whenever. Is there any chance that Penn State cultists DON'T claim that as a solo victory, on their part? "We brought down the NCAA!!!" Ha. It's like the gift of the instant replay from Joesus (that turns out to not be from Joesus, at all).
