Reason being, he called Bill Obrien his 'favorite coach ever.' Hello Allen, but know you played for the greatest coach of all time, and his name is not Bill Obrien. I don't care if he caught 0 passes under joe pa, and 748395949 passes under OB, you don't make that statement publicly if you played under the greatest coach of all time, Joseph Paterno. That is all.

Yeah - I was surprised by that, too. I wouldn't have posted that link if those responses had existed when I found the thread. Maybe there's some hope for the cult, afterall.

Edit: A whole page worth of responses criticizing the original poster, and then this on page 2:

Wow, disgusted at how quickly some of you turn on Joe. O'Brian was a traitor to the university. Some of these disrespectful posts show me that some of you did not deserve to watch Joe coach. If you play for Joe and your favorite coach is someone else, perhaps you chose the wrong school!
