Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Those Bud light commercials always make me think of PSU fans.

It must be like watching a game with Ramsey 24-7 but without any of the good luck or charm.

We don't love you Ramsey. No one does.

Re: 23.5 seems absurdly high to me. I see a 10 point game either way.***Reply

Wisky is a much better team than the one that lost to OSU earlier. They have not had a TD scored on their D in at least 3 games. They are playing well, and their motivation is bowl quality. If we can move the ball on them - like we have done on EVERYONE including OSU, that will be a good sign.

Their main game is running, and the QB is not mainly a runner like Miller. This will help us a little, but they are good. They will be a little easier to defend than OSU, but will move on us. I would expect them to score around 35-40 pts on us. I can see us scoring around 20 pts on them. I do expect that holding will be called on Wisky where OSU holds without this being called. That will help us.

Keep in mind we generate a lot of offense per point. going into yesterday we were among leaders in FDs and yards per game, but near bottom in points per game. We are also last in KO return defense and punting + the leader in negative Turnover margin. We lose the field position battles, and make up the difference with lots of drives = many not getting points because they are so long.

It is a lot about when you play these teams. When we played Indy they were hot offensively and it was opening BIG game. Now they stink up the joint on offense. We played OSU at night in their stadium when they were shooting for high score and mad about their D play. As good as they would like to think they were, their D never really stopped us - like they actually did in past years. We moved the ball all over the place on them. Their ability to hit late without being called helped their cause....especially the cheap shot on Hack after the penalty whistle. We played Michigan when they were unbeaten - so their OFF was still effective - now they couldn't score on a !AA team. We played Minny when they were in their win streak and believing....Wisky took the wind out, and now Sparty will really step on them this week. If we had played Minny after Wisky and Sparty = we win easily.

That is a slap in the face to the PSU programReply

The kids will not take that lightly. They may not win in Madison but they will make a stand and this will be a close game
Southeastern PA Buck Hunter

Lets weigh years of child rape vs. being a 23 point underdog...yeah, the 23 point 'dog is definitely the slap in the face here.
