Penn State Truthers - Ganim has the right to question EVERYTHING on that campus. From St. Joe Pa, to how the entire school administration (including the athletic department) dealt with Sandusky's crimes, to how 10% of the THON money actually goes to some hole-in-the-wall hospital in Hershey instead of a true research hospital that might actually DO something, with the rest of the THON money going to the general fund.
Penn State has been operating on the dark side of ethical for years and now the egg shell is finally starting to crack. Those of you who need to resort to threats, insults and childish name calling need to grow up or leave the internet as it is entirely too complicated for you.

THON is like JoePed. It gives these people a reason to believe that they are special and morally superior to everyone else. That is why they're so attached to it, and why they can't let JoePed's legacy go.

I read, on all places BWI, that applications to Penn State are down by over 25% among both out of state students and Honors college applicants. While I'm sure that they'll just bump a thousand or so kids who would have been destined for Altoona or Hershey to the main campus to compensate, this can't be good in the long term.

Here's the thing about that Consent Decree: Penn State didn't have to sign it. Even if Emmert was threatening them with the death penalty, they could have either called his bluff or fought it in court. They chose not to do so. The Pedsters and their pandering Governor may not like, but it's an enforceable AGREEMENT.

I read through that as well. That fanbase is off its rocker. There aren't any superlatives that I could use to describe them that haven't been used already.

Do they realize the whole country stopped laughing at them a long time ago? We were all kind of hoping they were just eventually come to their senses, but it seems time has made them even more irrational.
