Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Would you rather see a strong tsun and The Game take on national importance every year, or would you prefer a strong Ped Aggy and those crazy mouthbreathers running amok in the conference?

I want a 1 loss skunkbear team to face the Buckeyes on the last game of the season each and ever year.

Hopefully that 1 loss is to whatever other team is at the top of the L'whatever division so that when TSUN suffers loss #2 at the hands of Ohio State said other team advances to the championship game where they will meet the victorious Buckeyes.

Let me be clear, and I'm not proud of this, but Sandusky could rape me in the shower and I'd still root for PSU to beat scUM.

There are things that far transcend football, and the vile, heinous actions at PedState and those who blindly refuse to acknowlege them are prime examples. Fuck Penn State. I hope all B1G teams, including Michigan ape-fucks them hard. That said, the only game I want Michigan to win is against PedState. I want them to lose the rest of their games, so I can revel in their arrogant misery.

I hate PedState because they are a deranged cult of child-rape-enabling sub-humanoids.
I hate Michigan just because they are Michigan.

The PSU public relations campaign continues tomorrow at 4:00 PM. Let's see if Joe can keep himself out of trouble.

Former Penn State coach Joe Paterno to speak publicly for first time since being fired

Former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno will give his first public interview since he was fired Nov. 9 in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky child sexual abuse scandal. Paterno is doing an exclusive interview with Washington Post reporter Sally Jenkins, which the Post will run on its website tomorrow at 4 p.m.

Paterno was fired by Penn State's board of trustees on Nov. 9, days after Sandusky was charged with 40 counts of sex crimes against minors. He was cleared of any wrongdoing by Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly, but came under fire for not doing enough when told of a 2002 incident in a football locker room witnessed by then-graduate assistant Mike McQueary.

Nine days later, Paterno was diagnosed with a treatable form of lung cancer. He's undergone treatment since and today was admitted back into the hospital because of complications, his family said.

That PedState video BEGS to be revamped into a parody.

As for Joe's "interview"--I'm expecting something like Tiger's after-the-revelations news conference: managed, limited, hyper-controlled and revealing nothing new.

Is he planning on being out of the hospital by then?

Former Penn State coach Joe Paterno is back in the hospital. His family says he was admitted Friday for observation due to minor complications from cancer treatments.

I pray to the Paterno statue that he survives long enough to testify. I envision him shitting himself as he reveals that he and Sandusky high fived the '86 championship over a couple cold ones and a couple young ones...

I know we're in the 'joke' stage...but I can't express in words how fucking disappointed and disgusted I am when I read the PSU boards. I've said it before that I would trade 100 losses to PSU for the pain that these children have endured. Football means nothing here.

I think to myself, is there any human being out there, past/present, for which I would give my unquestioned devotion. There isn't. There's not. And I certainly wouldn't be hugging a fucking statue of any human being. WTF? Giving this much adulation and reverence to one person is sick and deranged (clinical sense).

Seriously, WTF!?

Oh, you mean stuff like this?

The "politically correct" liberal press and the PSU board of Trustees hung Papa Joe out to dry without even a trial or hearing. He could have been granted his wish to finish the year out and retire but NO....they had to nail this sick man to their cross to cover their own asses...shame, shame, shame.

Right. Joe's as innocent as Jesus. Got it.

(Not to mention that here's yet another intranets imbecile who's convinced that every bleeping thing on Planet Earth can be sorted out according to political orientation. You can't go online to research brands of dog food without stumbling across some rant claiming that it's the fault of *insert choice of party here* that Brand X gives their doberman the runs. gmafb)

Well, at least they know that it takes a very, VERY sick man to turn his back like he did.

If you are interested in submitting questions for Sally Jenkins about her interview, here is a LINK to the Washington Post site where the interview will be posted. Sally interviewed Joe yesterday and will answer questions about that interview on Monday. I submitted 2 questions:

1. Why did Joe permit Sandusky to continue access to football facilities and bowl game venues with kids in tow knowing that Sandusky had been under investigation for child sexual abuse, and
2. Why did Joe initially tell the press McQueary told him that Sandusky and Victim 2 were only horsing around when Joe's grand jury testimony shows he was provided information by McQueary that depicted more than horsing around in the football locker room shower?

1) Mr. Paterno, did you in any manner follow up with Curly and/or Schultz regarding the accusations of child molestation that you had forwarded to them? And if you did, why did you not contact a registered law enforcement agent when informed that they had not?

2) Mr. Paterno, Jerry Sandusky--despite being your heir apparent--suddenly retired from the football program in 1999 at a relatively early age and at the same time the once warm personal relationship between you and he became very distant and strained. Did this, in any way, have anything to do with the 1998 police investigation into alleged child abuse by Mr. Sandusky?
