Sweet Fancy Moses, LOOK at "mackdaddy's" signature. That thing is the equivalent of 5 or 6 posts in length.

Jesus. If this guy's not a troll, then he's quite possibly the stupidest mother fucker on BWI, which puts him high in the running for stupidest mother fucker worldwide.

Agreed. Love how the media outlets are aiding O'Brien in faking NFL interest so PSU panics and ups his contract. Wouldn't be the first nor last time the media told LIES about PENN STATE to further their jealously-fueled hate campaign. Penn State under sanctions is a better job than plenty of NFL gigs anyhow. That's just how special a place it is. Even if O'Brien did leave, Tom Bradley and the rest of the guys who fell on the sword for PSU's corrupt leadership could come back and arguably be considered an upgrade. When the sanctions end, Jay could be officially add HC in waiting to his OC title, and Lavar Arrington will start being groomed as a position coach to lead the next generation on PSU's CHAMPIONSHIP defense. The NCAA nazis just can't keep us down either way.

I wonder the same thing. Whenever I read MackDaddy's posts, he either infuriates me with his stupidity or leads me to believe he has to be one of the best trolls ever.

LOL @ PAGE 8.....

The envy of it's peers?!? Um....we've been a member of the B1G for a couple seasons now, and as far as I can tell, we've never been jealous of Penn State.....

You tOSU guys not telling me something?

News to us. We didn't know Penn State was better than Northwestern academically. Then again, I think no one but Penn State knew that.

While O'Blumpkin leaving was the best case scenario, there still is a lot of potential win in this. I see things going one of two ways. It's obvious that Barney Rubble is headed to the NFL at the first opportunity, and if he puts together another surprisingly good year, he's definitely gone. OTOH, if the sanctions take hold and he starts stringing four win seasons together, the cult will blame his lack of loyalty.

And let's not forget that--despite the cult's best effort to make it appear that he was every team's first choice and turned them down--nobody offered him a job. When he gets the offer, he's out the door like a whore.

Meh, it's awful early in the process to say he wouldn't have gotten an offer though, even if he wasn't a teams first choice..not every team is going to end up with their first choice.

Granted if he waits until the jobs are taken and he didn't get an offer he wouldn't have as much leverage for the pay bump

IMO his NFL turn down was as dumb as Bert Beilenema's sell high move was smart.

Bert saw that things weren't going to get any better for him in his current role, leveraged up the shit he knew he could never repeat and sold high.

Babillard O'Brevibloc just put all his money down on repeating his high water mark against the headwinds of sanctions, scUM resurgence and Urban Meyer hitting his stride at OSU.

Good luck with that.

Good points. If O'Brien has a .500 winning mark or better in the league after five years, he'll rank in coaching acumen up there with Lombardi, Brown and Leahy.
