We haven't yet heard from the Fed on non-reporting of campus violence at Ped State.(Clery Act) I believe they are waiting on the trials of the big 3 at Ped State for evidence.

The Clery Act requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information about crime on and near their respective campuses. Compliance is monitored by the United States Department of Education, which can impose civil penalties, up to $27,500 per violation, against institutions for each infraction and can suspend institutions from participating in federal student financial aid programs.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that it was under JoePed's direct orders that not only the football program but the entire athletic department didn't report, didn't hold any workshops or info sessions and essentially self-exempted themselves from a federal law.

But Joe was just a football coach.....except when he wasn't (single handed turning a lowly farm college into the world's best public university), and I'm sure that this bizarre order to ignore federal crime reporting law had nothing to do with any knowledge he might have possessed.

Damn, I wish that sick old freak had lived long enough to have been indicted and thrown onto a witness stand. Instead, he took the coward's way out and offed himself.

Bill O'Brien will duplicate that success at Penn State. By 2017 Penn State will be the most feared team in cfb.

Other than LSU in the late 80s, State College is the only place that I have ever seen Confederate flags at tailgates. Now, LSU is the only SEC school that I've ever attended a game at, so I'm certain that they're not alone in this regard. I have, however, been to every (real) Big Ten campus and have never seen the practice.
