Dottie is typical of families denying what happened and /or protecting a family member. You see it time after time. It's a moral dilemma for families and institutions. But the right thing to do is to hold everyone accountable in some way for protecting/enabling a pedophile. The "average" pedophile rapes 150 victims before he's brought to justice.
