Yep, you have to be pretty damn stupid to believe that "success with honor" was a thing while players attacked each other with machetes and the only consequence for any crime was to clean the stadium.

Joe Paterno clearly demonstrated that he held everyone around him to a higher "success with honor" standard.

As BN27 is so happy to point out, the charade was fairly obvious to anyone outside of the stupidest, most gullible fan base in the country.

The depths of the depravity that was masked for so long were not so obvious, however.

So if I'm following this correctly, the latest FACTS are that a trustee named Surma caused everything bad that happened to Penn State by canceling a press conference and supporting the firing of Paterno. His reason for doing this is that his brother hated Joe because his son didn't get much playing time on the team. Somehow, secondhand unconfirmed information that the son was gay and had a drug problem is relevant. Sooooo... Yeah.

I gotta say aurabass really manages to raise the bar for bat[Mark May] insanity every time he posts. You gotta admire that kind of dedication to one's craft.
