Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I definitely could see the Lions starting 7-0 this year despite the losses to the program. Unfortunately, they'll probably get [strike]ass raped[/strike] beaten by Ohio State and [strike]corn holed[/strike] rolled at Nebraska.

Beano was never a ped aggy fan. He was first and foremost a domer, but after that he loved Pitt. To his credit, he went on record before ped aggy started playing in the conference that they would struggle without Paterno being able to have his hand picked ref crews.

The cult is going after Ed Ray because apparently his actions with the NCAA are motivated by his raging jealousy of Penn State from his time as a faculty member and provost at Ohio State.

What kills me is that this cultist--who undeniably knows all the FACTS!--accuses Ray of reinstating the Tat-5. Ray hasn't been at Ohio State for a decade.

It would seem that the cult's hounding of Emmert and Ray is having the desired effect....from our point of view.

Has the NCAA shot themselves in the foot....

Everybody I meet is against the sanctions. This is from all over the country.

I think he meant county, specifically Centre County, and not country. Because if really meant country, then I would guess those conversations were all in his own little head.

I have yet to talk to a non-PSU fan (actual humans, not mutants) that think the penalties were too severe. Most everyone I have talked to think PSU got off light.

Stumbled across this, it's relevant on multiple levels:

Stewie soon to draw the wrath of the cult...

Ohio at Penn State
Beaver Stadium will be overflowing with pent-up emotion, and the Nittany Lions will come out playing with an offseason's worth of NCAA-fueled anger. But that will wear off after a couple of series, at which point Penn State won't be able to mask a total lack of offensive playmakers, making it susceptible to upset against an Ohio team that won 10 games last season.
