Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Bingo. Emmert's biggest mistake was not doing exactly that. Instead, he tried to give them a break, and yet those idiots are too dumb to realize they got just about the best deal that they could have, given the circumstances. God, I hope the NCAA reps who were really pushing for the death penalty are paying attention to this clownish behavior on the part of PSU's BoT, alumns, etc. and get Emmert to revisit the death penalty decision.

To be fair to the seemingly sane BOT members who have not said anything (as of yet), it is only 4 freaks of nature of the 32 (2 who were recently elected with the JOE IS GOD!! campaign) who are pushing the issue.

I think there are a few parody trolls but I see a lot of the same names that were there 5 years ago minus people like Marsh, Cronk and a few other reasonable regulars. Fortunately those people are pro-NCAA and Erickson but as a result they were basically forced off BWI by the cult. Lubrano called Marsh out - posted his real name and contact info and told everyone that he was not even a PSU grad (apparently went 3 years then transferred). Then he offered to meet him somewhere to "settle their differences"

Marsh was an African-American football player who played for Paterno? I never knew that! :wink2:

Reading the HERP DERP over on their boards about how all they want is the truth to come out just makes me laugh.

Do they really want that?

What if the truth is that Joe was pimping out these boys through the Second Mile and that all of those millions he gave to Penn State were profits from his pedophile ring?

What if the truth is that Joe threatened the lives of Spanier, Curley and Schultz and told them all that what happened to Ray Gricar could happen to them and their families very easily if this were to surface and hurt his "Grand Excrement..oops..Experiment"?

What if truth shows that Joe was like a mafia don and that he was the end all be all when it came to anything that happened in State College, and that it was all him that wanted things covered up?

What if the truth is that Jerry was blackmailing Joe by telling Joe to cover up for him so he "could get his freak on in the showers with little Bobby" or he would go to the NCAA with Joe's scheme of transferring marginal players out to branch campuses in order to artificially inflate his graduation rates?

What if the truth is that Joe demanded the ultra special treatment his players received through out his tenure, that they should be "untouchable" and that it was a standing order to "quash" or "drop" any charges against his players by the local cops?

What will these folks do if the above is the actual truth in the matter?

None of those things are consistent with the teachings of Dear Leader. Therefore, none of those things could be the TRUTH.

The truth

The BWI crowd seems to have coalesced around the common theme that they shouldn't be sanctioned until the truth comes out. If they were being altruistic they would decouple the two. Thus far the Freeh investigation is the only results that have came out and revealed enough for the NCAA to justifiably impose the sanctions that they did- if not more severe. What they should be saying is that they are outraged about what happened at their school and insist on a more thorough investigation. Instead they want to delay the sanctions and will probably not be happy until someone like Lubrano conducts an investigation to get to the TRUTH.

Honestly, I think they would trade a 10-year suspension of the program for an official JoePa vindication.

Honestly, I think they're really pissed because the Freeh report didn't bend the truth to protect any of the culpable parties involved. I think the lifestyle at PSU has been so corrupt for so long that it has become the "right" way of doing things.

I think they initiated the Freeh investigation thinking that he was a respectable name who would "play ball" and help clear PSU's name in this whole mess. I think that backfiring on them took them all by surprise. The thought that someone in Happy Valley would say anything derogatory about Joe (true or not) was unfathomable.

May I be so bold as to ask for a link, please?
Go do your own research and find your own "links". Erickson CLEARLY acted outside of his institutional LOA and I don't need to find you links establish this fact (it is a fact - Erickson did not have the institutional authority - i.e., "signatory power" - to commit PSU to the type of agreements he signed them up for. They required Board Approval and he never got it. There are now rumors circulating that he sought it, couldn't get it and SIGNED ANYWAY!! Doesn't get much more abusive then that for Erickson or the NCAA). You're the same type of a-hole who demanded a link proving that Schultz was the police commissioner (i.e., Senior Executive) of the University Park, PA Police Department - I not only provided a link; I provided a link from the University Park, PA Police Department's very own Official Website that CONFIRMED THIS FACT, but then the jack@sses just ignored THE FACTS. Go do your own GD research, it doesn't have a thing to do with REALITY and FACT. The reality and fact is YOU'RE WRONG dipsh!t.
That is some brilliant legal analysis. You do realize that just capitalizing words doesn't make them fact, correct.

Bushwood, after reading your posts I can't help but think that you are much closer to being one of the caddies than Judge Smails..

Really? The degrees that Alumnus hold have not been "injured" by the damage PSU's Institutional Reputation has suffered as a result of the mismanagement and self-dealing of the Executive Committee of the BOT (which includes the President)? Are you sure about that? That is real "economic injury" in a "legal sense" and every other sense!!!
Yeah, it's definitely the football probation that has done damage to your carnie college degrees. Definitely not propping your dear leader football coach up to God-like status. Definitely not the cover up of child rape to spare the reputation of your mediocre football program. Definitely not the goofy [censored]ers you elected to the BoT trying to sue everybody that looks of them funny. Definitely not goofy ass alumni like you getting all indignant about the punishment levied upon said mediocre football program. Definitely not goofballs like you saying you should file a lawsuit against your punisher. This definitely isn't about football. That's a FACT.

Jesus, these are some repugnant, morally bankrupt, subhuman, mutant, pig monsters being bred in that [Mark May]ty little valley...

You know what to do, Mr. Mitchell. You know what to do...
