Getting mad at Mark Emmert isn't going to do anything to help the children.

Is there a big time attorney to take this case......
If it comes down that PSU hasnt had a due process against the punishments handed down?

If you factor in the certain loss of revenue from a post-season bowl ban, plus possible losses from either restricted/vacated gate receipts or loss of TV revenue, then a heavy financial burden on top of that would start cutting into other sports across the atheltic department.
$60m doesn't *sound* like a lot to a billion dollar enterprise, but it's huge.

The other thing to keep in mind is like any business PSU 's expense structure is built on estimates of a certain level of revenue. If the on hand cash starts to get swept out in big chunks at the same time future revenue's are projecting down then the expense structure (employee comp is easiest) is going to take a haircut almost instantly.
Losing 1 years total revenue (50-60 MM estimates) would crush the athletic program imo given the lack of details we have at this point.
I know people up here who have a large part of their kids future education plans built on title 9 driven scholarships to PSU for their daughters in non revenue producing sports. This is not good news and I genuinely feel bad for them.
