Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Same thread.

Funny... yeah, they came in and rolled through the conference in the 2nd year. What about since? In 30 years, how many conference titles did they get? 1994, 2005, 2008, 2016. Am I missing one? I thought they had 5 championships. Wikipedia says it's just the 4 Big Ten titles. So... yeah, they've really made the conference look bad.

*ichigan has 6 championships in that time.
Wisconsin has 5 championships in that time.
Ohio State, of course, has a bunch.
Northwestern has 3 championships and Michigan State has 3. So, good work being 4th place, above Northwestern.
What really pisses them off about two of those conference titles is that they are shared with OSU even though they beat the Buckeyes both of those years ( 2005 and 2008)

So... some 9-year-old graduates high school. I've got opinions of that, but that's not why I posted it here. They start talking about what he's going to do next.

Some troll comes in and hits a home run. The home run has since been deleted, but the reactions to it have saved it. And they're all pretty angry. Ha.

Stop being offended by the trolls and the trolls go away.

I really hope it's a Rutgers fan

No response to Super 70s Sports. I was hoping to see a call to boycott his tweets. But, no.
But I did see this. Someone is trying to get a billboard in Columbus raising awareness for Richard Strauss's scandal.

"We had to fire our head coach. Why hasn't Ohio State lost their football team, yet??"

We all know 1994 was the biggest robbery of a team that deserved to be national champions, right? And then there's all the times the referees screwed Penn State out of a win. How about the time the refs screwed Penn State into a close win, instead of a big win? They have that on their list, too:
By the way, that Indiana game - 35-29 - is to be ignored because, if you watch it, it was both a screwjob by the refs that IU wasn't down 42-14 and a total fluke.

Also, I love it when people claim for "best team ever". You can never prove it right. You can never prove it wrong. These claims are worthless and you don't look smart for making them.
Considering how truly good the defense was, and considering how Joe pulled the starters by the middle of the 4th quarter in all but TWO games (Michigan + Illinois), thus deflating Penn State's scores AND making the defense look worse, there's really no question that Penn State was not just the "best offense ever," but the best TEAM ever.

Penn State football: James Franklin talks 2023 season, state of CFB in wide-ranging interview

he Big Ten East Division projects to be as tough as ever in 2023, and not only because of the presence of Michigan and Ohio State. Penn State and coach James Franklin could be a major factor, as the Nittany Lions will be a top-10 team in the preseason with hopes of making the College Football Playoff.

Franklin and company are coming off a Rose Bowl win over Utah and will turn to former 5-star recruit Drew Allar at quarterback. Across the roster, the Nittany Lions have plenty of athletes and a well-rounded group on both sides of the ball.

Just sayin': Fairly interesting interview.

The Penn State football spring game ended with just 10 combined points in a defensive showcase where the Blue Team defeated the White Team, 10-0, Saturday afternoon. And after the game, in his on-field interview with Big Ten Network, Penn State coach James Franklin said he was pleased with the day's effort.
