Seriously though, as much as I enjoy dog piling the cult, there's probably way, way too many stories like this one spread across every campus. There's still too much of it happening.

Still, fuck Joe.

I don’t think this one is as directly a Paterno thing specifically, but it’s more about how at the time a vicious predator could literally terrorize women for months, and the “meh” response to it from the community at large (and society at large), and also what women had to go through then, even with a guy like this, let alone with a date rape scenario. It’s more societal condemnation that Paterno, although the undertones of everything that would appear decades later were there.

One of the victims (or whatever you want to call them) specifically says Paterno was trying to protect his program the whole time.

That whole story is horrific. And yes, absolutely it happens at almost every college campus. It's just that pretty much every college campus isn't held up as some sort of shining example of purity by a cult like a certain shithole in Central Pennsylvania is held up as...

I agree it's less about Joe, and more about breakdowns within society and the justice system. But it reinforces what we all knew, which is that the football program was his fiefdom over which he ruled completely and without question.
