Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

During the final 11 drives of the game, with sophomore Ta'Quan Roberson replacing Clifford at quarterback, Penn State totaled just 50 yards.
"We weren’t able to do as much as we needed to in the second half," head coach James Franklin said.

Ta'Quan Roberson was a 4 star recruit and is a redshirt Sophomore; this is his 3rd year on the team. I put the blame for the loss solely on Franklin, he should have had his backup QB better prepared to play. Before the Iowa game Roberson had only attempted 8 pass in a real game (1 in 2019 and 7 in 2021); and all during garbage time.

I would like to see bwi, but I was banned after only 1 post. The sock is not welcome in those parts.

Could it be from foot odor?

Just sayin': Says the coach of the team that has the worst fans in all of college football.....

Franklin said “Iowa doesn’t run a tempo offense … it was not part of our plan.”

That certainly implies that when teams run a tempo offense, using ‘injuries’ to slow down the game is part of their plan.

Fuck this guy. Not elite.

Bullshit. It was totally part of their gameplan, enough so that the announcers were commenting on it. Guys would be down, med staff (and Franklin) would come out to check on them. After a few minutes, the player would pop up and limp off the field. Two plays later (or sooner), the player would be back in the game.
