Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

You know what this ugly and nasty episode has done?

There have been articles written in the past few days by Jemile Hill and Frank DeFord, both of whom I NEVER agree with on principle, but I found myself agreeing with them.

[censored] Ped State.

Hell, it led us to agree on something. [censored] Ped Aggy:biggrin:

I think it's safe to assume that, outside the cult, the JoePed legacy is

And curiously, Joe's appointment book notes from 2001 on is missing?

How can this not be interpreted as the Paterno family trying to hide evidence of Joe's involvement in letting Sandusky carry on with his abuse?

BWI was in an uproar because the writer refers to the documents as the scandalous sounding "Paterno Papers," until it was pointed out that wa the name given to them by the actual library. Go figure, it's "The Paterno Library" as well...

The totality of the lack of transparency and the bunker mentality would lead even the casual observer to believe there is a massive cover up.
There is much rotten in Happy Valley and it's not all related to Sandusky.
And the culture won't change any time soon.

Yes, ORD, we are not aware of "the facts." Thanks to bwi, I now know "the fact" that McQueary did not actually witness a crime. (That's actually something they are still repeating over there)

He did not say he witnessed Anal sex. Just a 50 some your old man, in the PSU athletic showers late on a Sunday alone with a 10 year old boy. OK, I get it.

Curley also has cancer? Yesh this story just keeps getting darker and darker.

As for the absence of Joe Pa's 2001 schedule it would be a bit more of a bombshell if there were any documents in the collection after 2000.

I know it's isignificant in the grand scheme of things, but I hope they lose every football game 70-0. I hope scUM lays 100 on them. I hope Urban drops 150. I also hope that statue gets torn down, and the head pops off while being transported to the dump. That's all these mutants care about, so that's how you "hit 'em where it hurts".
Don't forget to take some wins away. I can't even imagine the joy I would take if they took that away from them.

As I've said before... At a minimum, every game where Syndusky had a kid in the facility after he was no longer a coach should be a fine proxy for the number of vacated wins.

The number they take away better place him behind Bobbeh. Just to piss those cultists off even more.

Yes, he allegedly does. Just like Joe did after this blew up. If only General Custer had this excuse then we would have preserved his legacy.

His comments on Joe's firing made to the Philly Post on 6/21/12:

I think people might be being a bit rough on Adam...I get that Paterno should have been fired, but I also get where Adam, who went through what he did, would have that particularly sting. Given how he treated everyone at OSU after his injuries (and long after), I will cut him some slack.

Until he shows up on BWI, that is :shake:
