Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/lol-psu-preparing-to-deal-with-tamu.187368/

How great would it be if James Franklin leaves Penn State for Texas A&M? Or for anywhere else, really...
I've never been to Ped and never will go because I enjoy showering without fear. In saying that, isn't Ped in the middle of no where and relatively pretty Isolated?

It's not Columbus obviously but I figure if you're going to be in a place where there's nothing you may as well be warm like at A&M or Florida.

At least with aTm you're an hour and a half or so away from Houston and/or Austin.

Ped State is 90 minutes away from the bustling metropolis that is Harrisburg :slappy: It's almost 3 hours to get to Shitzburgh and nearly 3.5 to get to Philly.

Just saying - they aren't exactly equal, even if you factor in the weather.

He's the king of his own tiny isolated village. Proximity to bigger towns with actual things going on isn't exactly a positive.

It's all about his market value. If he feels like his stock has reached its potential at PedSU, I wouldn't put it past him to bolt for another job. Like @Mike80 said, Happy Valley is in the middle of nowhere. If he (or his wife) wants to be in a bigger city, Knoxville could look real attractive to him. Who knows how well he works with his AD at PedSU.

He's not going to trade in Crappy Valley for proximity to bigger cities yet. Especially if that other team is aTm.

Guys, TAMU might really be in play here.

He took the State Penn job, so he was definitely OK with hitting the showers.

Maybe Franklin just really likes the jiz jars aspect of the TAMU job.

O'Brien was clearly disturbed by the cult behavior. I don't get the same feeling with Franklin. He seems to like it there.

Agree completely. Franklin is from Pennsylvania. At his first press conference, he kissed Joesus' pedophile-protecting ass. Franklin also talked several times about having to go to D2 East Stroudsgburg (Pa.) because he wasn't a good enough player to play at PSU.

Not that it is impossible, but it seems really hard to believe that a Pennsylvania native would leave PSU when he has them in good shape going forward.

I dare you to say that to Dan Yaccobacci's face.
