In today's "bizarre thread of the day" (there is ALWAYS one bizarre thread a day), Tom McAndrew commented about what type of BWI posts and jokes he finds to be "offensive."

Evidently, McAndrew does not approve of somebody editing an incredibly obscure Wikipedia page and making fun of a one-time-popular BWI poster (MarshCreekEagle). Never mind those threads talking about "angles of penetration" and such!!! Posts like THIS one are horribly offensive!!!!!!

It's kind of funny, MarshCreekEagle actually left BWI in June 2012 because BWI basically declared war upon him, for NOT being among the "Paterno Loyalists." Anthony Lubrano actually posted MarshCreekEagle's personal information on the board once. Awesome behavior from a Board-of-Trustees member!

(yes, I am telling the truth, I was the one-time Wikipedia editor back in August 2010)
McAndrew is a d-bag. He and his PSU followers frequented the same gameday sports bar that our local OSU folks used at one time so I have seen him in person. He looks like the type that still lives in his parents basement. I'm not sure that he has a real job or earns a living. And regarding Lubrano and his buddy Al Lord... anyone in the business community that has dealt with either of these guys will tell you they are complete assholes. Research the details of Lubrano's divorce or the incident he had in the restaurant back in 2012 if you want to see what kind of guy he is.

I crossed paths with Marsh at the B33 game one year. At the time he was still trying to sell the idea that the B1G was out to get PSU but otherwise he seemed like an OK guy.

The best of both worlds is when a couple of questionable calls go against them in the first quarter and then the other team ends up blowing them out. You get to enjoy the plungering and the conspiracy meltdown because they'll insist that the bad calls changed the entire momentum of the game.

Yup. Remember 2013? Miller was running around this way, and an Olineman (Marcus Hall maybe) had a nice blind-side block that they thought should have been "targeting". It was early and Ohio State may have only been up 7-0 at that point. Call that penalty, they say, and Ohio State likely doesn't get a first down and has to punt. Penn State gets it back down 7-0 who knows what happens? As it was, they get it back down 14-0 and don't do anything for the rest of the game.

Or, so says the cult...

Isn't that also the game where "classless turd urban myers" called timeout to challenge the spot?

It was also the game where they were pissing themselves over a squib kick at the end of the 1st half that hit one of the up men instead of bouncing back through the formation....

These people don't understand how football is played and when they are losing, their inbred subhuman brains cannot fathom actually losing but do think it's only because they got screwed in some fashion.

They are mentally deficient in every way imaginable. I suggest rounding them all up, putting them on a boat to no where and then nuking it when it's halfway there.

The Cult is now mad that a random Detroit Free Press writer lacking FAX had the nerve to suggest that "Some think [Joesus] did not take enough personal action."

My favorite post in the thread is the one in which a Cult member fired off a letter to the writer urging him to learn the FAX and that Joesus was under no legal obligation to do more than he did to stop the raping on campus. Is there actually anyone outside the Cult who views doing the absolute bare minimum required by law as "proof" that Joesus got railroaded or admirable in any way? Yea, a boy being ***-raped in the PSU locker room had nothing to do with PSU or the coach who was informed of the raping. :mad1:

psu1969a: I just sent the following to the Detroit Free Press. Posting here is very cathartic, but does not get the message to the right people.

In regard to Mark Snyder’s comments regarding Joseph V Paterno and the Sandusky Incident in Centre County, Pennsylvania. First, this incident had nothing to do with State College (PA), Pennsylvania State University and or the head football coach at the time in 2011, namely: Joseph V Paterno.

Mr. Snyder your comment: “Though Paterno is the winningest coach in college football history, his legacy is complicated by the sexual-abuse scandal involving his longtime assistant Jerry Sandusky. Paterno was told of an incident involving Sandusky and some think he did not take enough personal action to prevent further problems.”

I strongly suggest you do additional research on the incident. In regards to this incident: the right answer is "Joe Paterno followed protocol exactly as it was written. He was under no legal obligation to follow up with either JS (Jerry Sandusky) or the showervictim. His actions were honorable". As a matter of fact the NCAA who openly condemned JVP, now uses his actions as the template for reporting/handling suspected/reported acts of sexual misconduct with children.

.
Was the Free Press writer going to confuse him with a different Joseph Paterno?
