So the NCAA supposedly had Freeh find what they wanted him to find so they could punish Penn State? What do they get out of that?
The Cult is "disappointed in the reaction today's news has gotten." Little coverage on ESPN, nothing on CNN. I mean, it's almost like no one outside BWI and Audibles gives a [Mark May] about this "game-changing" news. Sandusky is still a pedophile, Joe and his minions are still enablers. Why would the rest of the country care if Freeh and the NCAA collaborated against the perpetrators of the worst scandal in the history of college sports?

the best is yet to come. I don't know exactly what that's going to look like, but I believe that it's coming. A marathon, not a sprint--and I think we're at about mile 19.

I wish PSU had hired Freeh to do a two-parter - one assessing what happened and making recommendations, and a second documenting what changes have occurred in the culture in the ensuing years.
That would make for an interesting read, no?

Back in Nov 2011, most people thought Jerry and Joe were guilty or Jerry was guilty and Joe made a mistake for covering up. Today most see that Joe did the exact right thing, however very few see that Jerry was not the monster everyone thought he was. Jerry needs a new trial, as most people still don't understand there is zero physical evidence against Jerry. I have doubts and people who have studied the trial should also.
You have to admit at least that the trial was a complete sham. 6 months from the time he was charged to being found guilty? Look at how much evidence has come to light since his guilty verdict. I do believe he needs a retrial.
Probably another frivolous lawsuit claiming he didn't act in PSU's best interest (his employer).
That said, his report is public knowledge and IIRC PSU was allowing NCAA unfettered access at that time. They were always going to seek him out.
They're at mile 19 but they never should have made it past the Second Mile...Patience, Please...Reply

The Ziegler is strong with this one.I said it before and I'll say it again: the cult would rather Jerry Sandusky go free (either by finding him "innocent" or "not guilty", or by some technicality loophole in the law) and get their wins back than admit that Paterno covered something up. Afterall, innocent Sandusky = no cover up.

To be fair, the next post calls this guy "delusional". But then:
