After watching my recording of the first half of last night game, I would say it was the best half of Buckeye football since the first half of the Sugar Bowl against Arkansas.
Only because of the quality of the opponent, did I consider the first half of the Sugar Bowl comparable. Thanks to the last 4 minutes of the half, I'd say it was better IMO. At 28-7 PSU might have gone into the locker room with a sliver of hope. With the response TD to make it 35-7 starting with Dontre actually being allowed to return one, followed by the 55 second throat dagger drive that put us up 42-7 it was completely over. The only thing PSU came out in the second half for was reps.

All these fans of other programs who still say things like "just force Miller to throw" when trying to talk us down have no idea the punishment they're inviting.
On offense, we're witnessing a fully operational Urban Deathstar.
That was 4th down....it yielded a turnover on downs.Thank you Buckeyes. I haven't enjoyed a game from KO to the final second like that in a while.
Evidently, BOB was upset that Urban challenged the spot on that 3rd down reception. Can someone explain the basis for that? I tried to see it from the PSU perspective - what if they had done that leading by 40 or 50. I don't think that would bother me - especially if the challenge was upheld. I do think I would be more concerned about why the Bucks got down by 40-50. But maybe that's just me.

And it's purely sour grapes because it ended their drive over a call when OSU was up. Had the tables been turned, they would have been happy with the decision to challenge the spot.

Oh they bitched about the placement of the ball on that play, too. Because they're idiots and think it's where the foot goes out and not where the ball is when the foot goes out.Yep. They're also grumpy because the original call was that it was a first down, and replay moved the ball back to behind the line to get. They're also sad that they didn't even get a measurement. But if you look at the replay, the first down post was right on the yard line - 20? 30? 25? And the spot that they put the ball was short of that white line. No need to pull the chains out when you have a permanent white line telling you he didn't get it. As for their bitchery about not seeing indesputable evidence, they might have a point. But I was convinced they eventually got the spot right. Kinda like that first touchdown drive - Ohio State's receiver (I already forget who it was - Spencer, maybe?) stepped out around the 1-1/2, with the ball stretched toward the line. I didn't see any angles that showed that he DIDN'T score a touchdown before stepping out, but I believe that reversing the touchdown was correct.
