Jesus H. Clausen won't perform to Chuck's standards and he'll end up jerking the kid around so much that his confidence will be ruined.
I wouldn't worry about that. All those kids in the Clausen family have shown themselves to be very humble and well grounded.

Mom and pop did a bang-up job raising all those boys. :paranoid:

what weis has done reminds me of the NY Yankees in some ways.. same result too..

Don't scare me like this. The Yankees may not have been in, or won, the WS in the last few years, but they've always been in the picture. I'd rather see ND barely visible on the horizon.

given the fact that the older Clausen's underwhelmed in college, what made anyone think that junior would be any different?

7 points for ND, Int by Morelli returned for TD  So far Clausen hasn't been jumpy, hes at least moving the ball better than the other 2 did last week. Happy Valley is packed with white, I wouldn't want to be starting my first game there.

Theres a lot of freshmen and sophomores starting in this game. Clausen at QB, Armando Allen FR at Tailback, couple Sophs on O-line. Strange that Allen is in, Travis Thomas is the Senior TB, Aldridge is the Soph TB that was as highly touted as Allen. Starting all those green players is showing the lack of talent Willingham brought in his recruiting classes.
