Penn St +18.5 at tOSU (ov/un 125.5) Sat 5:30 ET, BTN

Well, I think that opposing Big Ten teams have "figured out" Ohio State. Illinois lost today, but the Illini, Boilermakers, and Badgers all look a lot tougher after these last three close games.

PSU was over 90% from the free throw line and the Buckeyes less than 70%. If the Buckeyes are 90% from the line, this game is four points more in their favor.

Also, out-rebounded. Some things for the new #1 to work on.

Tonight was the loudest I've heard the shot in three years. Hope we can keep the attendance and the noise up! It's about time the students stood up and they really stepped up tonight. The place was electric there at the end of the game... and this was just Penn State!

Great game tonight. Good teams just find a way to win and these guys believe. This is the most fun I've ever had watching Ohio State basketball. Thank you, Thad.

Sullinger was uncharacteristically passive on the boards. But as usual, we were getting grabbed, kicked, slugged and whacked with impugnity, while getting called for fouls because of the egregious fact that Penn State players slipped while playing out of control. :shake:

Buckeyes need to get used to having the target squarely on their backs throughout the season. We'll win the conference easily, but we won't be unbeaten; referees won't allow that to happen. Everyone but Ohio State is apparently provided carte blanche to use the moving screen.

"Only Taylor Battle can make that shot look easy" did it for me.

Yes asshole....Taylor Battle is the only one who has ever shot a falling back 3 pointer.

You'll be pleased to know his final numbers from outside the arc today:

1 for 10.

But he made that one shot look easy. :tongue2:
