The calls before that kick and some from the preceding drive encapsulate my issues with Ryan Day. He put his kicker in a shit position. Fail.Like…he could have made it. Maybe…never looked good before the kick.
But also shouldn’t have been asked to. I will think about those playcalls before for years.
Day turtled the last few drives. Proved he doesn’t have it. Get rid of him. This moral victory probably bought him more time though
The ball was thrown as Ohio State's receiver was being held. The ball is tipped. So, for a moment in time the ball was in the air, before being tipped, while our player is being held. That is pass interference. It was at least holding, but it was also pass interference. Real Herbstreit even explained this (about the only goddamn call he analyzed correctly). You can’t commit PI on a tipped ball. You can still commit a hold( which he might have) put PI is off the table after the tip.
Georgia needed 42 with the best defense in the country.This. I don’t care who the opponent is, shouldn’t need 40+ points and game winning FGs from your kicker in back to back bowls.
Is anyone shocked that the 3 crucial officiating calls all went the SEC teams way?
It was NFL shit when they all get paid. Like…we’re good. Run it and let the pro kicker pay my check. The calls before that kick and some from the preceding drive encapsulate my issues with Ryan Day. He put his kicker in a shit position. Fail.

Ok so who exactly do you want if you get rid of Day? People are ridiculous with this. Did Day make MH and Cade get injured? Did he tell the booth to not call targeting? Not exactly what people are wanting here. Running that fake punt sure was him turtling wasn’t it? I was his harshest critic after the TSUN game but to say he’s not the guy after this game is asinine.
freaking head hunting bullshit. I've seen 20 of those called this season with less forcible contact to head neck area. had no idea where the ball was and went straight to the head. and to overturn it? changed the game.
