Peach Bowl: #1 Georgia vs #4 tOSU, Sat 12/31 8 ET on ESPN

1) Handle all the pre snap movement but stay flexible (or have a bunch of busts)?

We're fucked (seen this movie before)

2) Avoid penalties and do well on 3rd down (against a superior run defense no less)?

We're fucked (seen this movie even more)

3) Get the ball to your best player no matter what?

Is Cade Stove our best player? (We're fucked)

If you get outcoached by Jim fucking Harbaugh, twice, then you are going to get outcoached by Kirby Smart and his staff.

This is the latest from the Dawgs regarding McConkey and McClendon.
If they can’t go, Kearis Jackson/Dillon Bell are McConkey’s backups and Amarius Mimms will play for McClendon.

how much of a dropoff is it if your wr can't go? you guys have cyborgs at almost all spots besides QB (where you have a college gamer), but wr is unusually average from my limited viewing of the dawgs.

Only in YAC statistics. If McConkey can’t go, you’ll see the other two out there making catches, but they don’t have the shiftiness of Ladd. Completions but then tackled shortly thereafter. Move the sticks guys, not flip the field guys.

You haven't seen our corners play, have you?

Georgia deserves credit for squashing them, but that goes under "doing what they're supposed to do, and doing it in impressive fashion"
Because we all know who Bo Nix is. And these are not the ducks of a decade ago.

as for the league he plays in, it's a touch underrated, but a very different beast than the B1G/SEC. Look at Zach Charbonnet before and after going west.

It was the first game of the year #1 and they play in a conference that refuses to play defense.

Seriously go look at Oregons schedule. They literally didn't play anyone after Georgia. Best defense otherwise they faced was Utah which held them to 20 points.
You could have made the exact same two points about Oregons conference and schedule last year and they housed us.
49-3 vs a top 15 team and top 4 offense is impressive any way you try and look at it.

In three starts against Georgia, Nix threw for 639 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions at a 56% completion rate. On top of that, Nix was sacked seven times in those games, while the Tigers offense was outscored 82-30.
213 yds 56% 0.3 td 0.7 int a game is not great.

Spoiler alert: he was still bad in the 4th outing.

178 yds 56% 0 td 2 int

yes you could. I'm missing how that's a rebuttal.

a dreadful defense that can't stop the run is problematic, against teams from any conference.

the hope was OSU had turned the corner to adequate defense. the last game suggests otherwise. the pac12 and OSU team being flawed are not remotely mutually exclusive. Both are probable. the difference is OSU has the talent to remake themselves in the bowl season, especially if they can get their key interior OL and DT healthy for the first time in awhile.

Exactly.

We gave up TDs on the same run 3 times if I recall correctly. The defense has turned a corner compared to last year's defense though. We're a top 10ish defense which is a big time jump from last year. We just had a really poor close to the season vs Maryland and Michigan.

We'll see what we have for UGA though. Like you mention We'll be healthy for the first time in a very long time. So we have to hope Michael Hall and Williams make a difference up front. Also this OL is finally healthier too and I for one still think this OL is very very good.
