  • Left Ann Arbor in '21 with Simple Jim rubbing their coaches face in it about 3rd base
  • every other possible form of mouth running and disrespect you can imagine ringing in their ears
  • heard this shit for a year
  • had the shot at redemption/revenge in their home stadium
  • had the better talent
  • did fuck all with it
  • shit down one leg
  • pissed down the other
  • grabbed their own throat with both hands and choked themselves hard
Now they mean it? Now all of a sudden they are going to find some balls? Be fueled by disrespect? Be calm under pressure? Stare down adversity?

Ohio State feels like a team that's going to do the same shit all over again.
That Sam Block guy reminds me of an 8 year old fan. He has the most outrageous takes of any buckeye fan I've seen. You'd think we'd won it all 5 years running with how he talks about Ohio State.

I'm with you Jax. If anything will help this team maybe it's not the "disrespect" but rather the new found opportunity we got when USC lost. Clearly this team isn't motivated by disrespect etc or we would've curb stomped Michigan. Perhaps something positive and not negative will motivate our players and coaches to play their best? We will see.

Until we see though (and we'll know early) I'm going to believe in my mind that we probably lose this game by 10+ (heart says 38-31 Buckeyes). We need to see an aggressive passing game, need to see Egbuka/Fleming step up, need Stover to block, need CJ to use his legs even just fractionally, DBs have to play well, safety play has to erase things and we need to hold up on defense without bringing the house.

Jim Tressel's first head coach job was Youngstown State. Urban Meyer's first HC job was Bowling Green. Woody's first HC job was Denison. Ryan Day? Ohio State.

Guys need to make their learning-on-the-job mistakes somewhere else before taking over a major program, but here we are taking on the #1 team in the country.

I didn’t believe this, but I started to think about it during the title game against Alabama, it was confirmed during the against (a bad) Oregon team in the Shoe, and I’m a firm believer after these 2 Michigan games.

I was looking for the Jaxon Smith-Njigba thread to post it but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I was shocked to hear he was by passing the playoffs. I understand how players by pass the bowl games like Olave and Wilson did last year but I have never heard of anyone passing up the playoffs to declare early. Does anyone know if he was still so injured he had no shot to play with the team ? Even if that was the case would you not want to be with your team to show support ? What advantage does he has with declaring 3 weeks before the game ? I just find it odd and don't understand it.
If he can't play that is one thing but if he had any shot to play I mean it is the playoff man.

A healthy Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be the 1 way we would be able to reverse the curse and take down Georgia and Michigan for a title. He would have added such a huge element to the game to add to Harrison and others.
