Peach Bowl: #1 Georgia vs #4 tOSU, Sat 12/31 8 ET on ESPN

We know what we've got (good and bad) with this '22 team.

I think the '14 comps are just pure wish casting myself.

I think this is more like the 2016 team that got in without playing in the CCG. I hope I'm wrong because losing 31-0 in the playoff wasn't much fun.

Feels like 1995 team to me.

Inexplicably bad loss to tsun and headed down to a Bowl game in the mid South to show us all that they can always find a new way to lose with loads of talent.

We can do this again and IMO the best thing that's happened to us? Stetson Bennett. He is a Heisman finalist. Our defense will now take this kid seriously as no one else has. I hope CJ finished 3rd behind Williams and Bennett because that will create a fucking fire.

If the defense needs to see what place Stetson Bennett finishes in the Heisman voting to get fired up, something is seriously wrong.

And Stetson Bennett is surprisingly mobile, he picks up a lot of first downs with his legs. I think it’s important to keep him in the pocket, and since he’s somewhat vertically challenged, try to tip passes to get some game-changing plays like the Buckeyes got at Penn State. Don’t rush headlong on the outside and open up escape routes, we saw that problem in The Game.

My point was that every fan base discounts this kid... all of them.

I've never seen such a disrespected successful QB to be honest. Yet that's not possible this time.

My dream is that Ohio State delivers death blows to Kirby and Hairball over the next two games and then you come riding back down Mt. Crumpit with a sack full of GPAs and a heart that grew three sizes.

…but then you still leer at Day while carving the roast beast.

Roll credits.

I could live with that.

Would you take Bosa/STEVE MILLER over JT/Harrison/Sawyer?

Would you take Lee/Grant over Chambers/Eichenber?

I'd say the DL is advantage 2022 and the LB is a push.
He'll yes. Bosa was the 3rd puck in the draft and was the highest paid defensive player in the NFL after his rookie deal. Just completely dominate player with a MOTOR. Only dudes I see on this teams with a true motor are Eichenberg and MHJR. Something is definitely off with this team when it comes to conditioning...

I still think that OSU stands a good chance of winning if somewhat healthy. No JSN or Henderson almost puts that out of reach...

I would watch that movie every Christmas.

In 2014 we also didn't really know yet what we had in Zeke Elliot Mike Thomas nor could we imagine the heroics of our 3rd string QB being enough.

We know what we've got (good and bad) with this '22 team.

I think the '14 comps are just pure wish casting myself.

And we could have only been wishing casting then if we had said Joey Freshwater would have called off Derrick Henry.

What's my point? I dunno, maybe its that you only have to solve the problems the other team presents to you.

My guess is the Georgia defense will do what they do... and the Offense will try to emulate what simple Jim did. Plan for those things, pre script adjustments if you're right, and you have a chance.

Shit the best thing they could probably do is watch the 1st quarter (plus) of that Alabama game over and over, it went horribly.
