There was also a TD by Charles White in the Rose Bowl against Michigan. White fumbled at the one yard line as he was leaping over the defense. He ended up in the end zone without the ball and USC was awarded a TD. This was before replay however the replay on TV clearly showed the error.

Not trying to be a downer but I mentioned last night how special 02 and 14 were. I know the Bucks will be in the conversation for the next few years but I still don’t know when we’ll see the next championship. Seem snake bitten. This one was right there.

You want to hear something crazy? It's within the realm of possibility that OSU could play dUMb 3 consecutive times. 1. End the year. 2. Big Ten playoff 3. CFP. That would be insane.

But in a good way, right? Like folks (not necessarily you) keep saying this as if it's a bad thing; man, I'd glue my butt to the couch every single time we played OSU and hell yes I'd rather play the Buckeyes than some meaningless bowl game for conference runners up where the refs will hate us and it'll be a complete mystery if we're even going to show up. Absolutely, I would sign up for that.

Things will be different, but if "different" means more games against our rival? I'm in.

Well, as an old-timer who liked things the way they were, "best 2 out of 3" would not be my definition of a great idea. But, time and change, etc.

My only point is complaining about the refs again isn't right. Our defense gave up 42 points and that can't happen in these games. Just didn't get the stops late and our offense couldn't deliver the knock out punch when our defense gave them the ball back all 3rd quarter.

:sarcastic:...The refs were from the PAC-12 and I can't think of any reason that they would be biased against a B1G team.....:lol:...:sarcastic:

But you are right, you can't give up 42 points and expect to win the game (or any game for that matter).
