Peach Bowl: #1 Georgia vs #4 tOSU, Sat 12/31 8 ET on ESPN

If Treyveon and Miyan are still out of sorts. I pray Day is wise enough to roll with Haden and Chip. I think they have the ability to pound it on Georgia. The former 2, I think as it stands, would get worked by UGA. You can tell they aren’t healthy.

No doubt Williams will be full go.... I doubt Henderson can go if he really did break something in his foot.

I like Xavier Johnson but every time he lined up at RB against Michigan it was a “gimmick” play. If he needs to give us some snaps at RB, you can’t just assume a flare pass is going to be effective….all antennas are up when he’s lined up there.

I think Chip and Hayden can be an effective combo. If Miyan is semi-healthy I think that’s a bonus.

My biggest thing is multiple years now in a playoff game, a RB has gotten hurt and the entire gameplan goes to hell. I just hope whichever RB’s we have available all are ready to execute any playcall on the sheet.

It’s been my biggest gripe to date with Day…..he has isolated plays for specific personnel. If a player gets hurt, large chunks of a playbook are gone…..it happened when Sermon went down and it happened when Dobbins went down. I can’t state this enough……certainly great RB’s went down hurt……but the game plans shrank immediately. If we have a special screen, or trick play, or a newly installed play…….the RB’s need to be ready to execute it all.

Sermon getting hurt against Bama was the reason that game got outta hand as much as we blame the defense. Our offense imploded once Master Teague entered and our playbook became the equivalent of a coloring book.

Absolutely, because earlier in the year when he was healthy, Miyan was looking phenomenal. We've seen what Treyveon can do when healthy, if last year is any indication.
Until otherwise I'm not expecting 2019 Trey anymore at any point. Vision just isnt there which typically isn't something that improves I find.

He can/will still have some nice performances but I'd be shocked if he found a way to be that dominant back like we thought he'd be.

Pretty concerned about Georgia's ability to induce offensive lines into false starts. Kirby Smart has beat this drum for a long time and openly talks about his strategy in moving defensive lineman at specific moments when the offensive line is set, to draw out false starts.

We already commit too many penalties but I'm already mentally preparing for like 4 or 5 false starts.

I think we’re going to need to play very matchup based.

meaning when we want to throw, go 4+ wrs and give stroud the full field to read

when we want to run, go heavier personnel and encourage our OL to just push like hell

we get so off schedule when we try to do cute runs out of throw looks, and throws out of run looks

and I think the Georgia defense is really sound scheme wise. so our best bet is winning matchups athlete vs athlete
