Patriots(-7.5) at Bengals

The Patriots officially can cover just about "any" spread. I hope Belichick doesn't have any hard feelings toward Romeo that could cause him to run up on the score on the Browns - as if they can control it.

Yeah, the Pats look pretty damned impressive, if they can avoid too much injury they are going to be dangerous in the post season. Still, though, it's only week 4, there's a lot of things that can happen, like aliens could abduct half their team or the Hoodie could finally let his ego consume him like that plant from Little Shop of Horrors and we would finally be rid of him.

I haven't laughed this much since the 2002 season.

Frankly, I'm sick of 8-8 and thinking playoffs. Id' rahter be 4-12 and laugh my ass off at the ineptitude and get the high round pick that Marvin will waste yet again.

Marvin has become a joke. His lack of coaching or even emotion on the sidelines was pathetic.

Like watching a young Dave Shula...now that was funny...

I was at the game last night...the Bengals had no fight in them whatsoever...they even showed Ocho Stinko and Carson Palmer getting into a heated discussion on the jumbotron.

Needless to say, as a Browns fan, I was able to sit back and enjoy the game w/out worrying about the outcome, but the plethora of orange and black faithful around us were NOT happy.

Pathetic piece of shit!

My confidence in Marvin Lewis is basically gone. When they hired him, I predicted they would make the playoffs that season. I was wrong but at 8-8, it was a move in the right direction. Followed with another 8-8 and then the 11-5 that felt like the organization had finally made it over the hump.

Yeah.....what's on the other side of the hump? A fuckin' cliff. This organization is headed back where it came from. I still really like Marv as a person, but this shit ain't working, and yet they keep trying to fix it the same stupid way.

Need DB help? Draft a guy early and hope for the best - Ratliff, Joseph, Hall
Need DL help - sign an over-the-hill vet - (Robinson, Thornton, Adams) and fill in the rest with 4th-7th round picks.
Need a 2nd back - draft an undersized guy earlier than he's projected - Perry, Irons
Need a linebacker - draft a low-character douchebag - Thurman, Brooks, Nicholson

Christ. Learn from your fucking mistakes.

That's the attitude to have at this point. Time to drag the ol' paperbag out of the closet for the next home game. :p

As long as Mikey Boy is in charge this organization will figure out how to keep costs as low as possible and income for the Brown Extended Family Jobs Program high.

I worked with one of their chief talent scouts when he was coaching at Moeller. He knows his business, but he's on the smallest scouting/evaluation staff in the NFL. Add to this the propensity for Mikey Boy to walk into draft meetings and throw all of their work out the window and say, "This is my pick." Remember David Klingler? Yep, a Mikey Boy pick. If it weren't for Gary Burbank and his All My Bengals/Synonymous Bengal skits there'd be nothing to laugh out here in the Queen city.
