Patriots(-5.5) at Colts

No, but when a soft team plays a physical team, I tend to go with the physical team.
I guess efficient offense equates to soft offense these days... Kenton freakin Keith went wild in Addai's absence. That OL sure dominates the LOS for a bunch of softies.

Outside of SNL & commercial breaks, I haven't seen Peyton be a softie. Big Ben on the other hand...

The colts D of today is quite different from a personnel & execution standpoint than the Cato June version.

I feel as if the Pats gave them the game last year. Peyton Manning is a notorious big game choker who had no business winning the SB MVP last year, benefiting from a superb game from his 2 RBs. He's a really good QB, but the fact is, people have given him the nod ahead of Brady forever because essentially of his superior wideouts, great OL and great running game. Look at Brady now, he got himself some receivers to play with and a sweet 15:1 TD/INT ratio.

Tony Dungy is wildly overrated as a coach. He can't hold BB's jock. I have very little tolerance for receivers who refuse to go over the middle (I'm looking at you, Marvin Harrison). I'm also having a hard time believing the Colts D is good all of a sudden, because honestly, they haven't played a good offense in God knows how long.

Look at when the D got good....Who did they beat?
Chiefs (No wideouts/QB)
Ravens (Sick D, no O)
Pats (They gave up a lot of points)
Bears (Grossman rocks!)
Then a bunch of zeroes this year.

I want to see them beat the juggernaut O that is the Pats. I love Marlin Jackson, but he's going to get himself a new asshole this weekend after Randy Moss is through with him. I don't see the Colts having the D personnel to contain the Pats.
Well after reading that:), I just put 5K on the Patriots.

This year theyve probably played as many playoff teams as the Pats have. For all your concern about offensive teams, what about defensive teams? the Colts have played as many as four well regarded pass defenses. The pats have played 1.

Brady has yet to be pressured this year..........if the colts want to win or come close to winning this game they need to not only pressure Brady early and often, but also get physical at the line with those Pat recievers. I am waiting to see what freaking team is gonna man up and bust these guys in the mouth.:osu:

This is an odd game, I bet on the Pats because I think they will probably win and it will be in convincing fashion, however, I will be rooting for the Colts. If the Colts pull it out I won't miss the 10K I have on the game, however, if the pats win by 3 I will be a little bitter :(

Today the Colts play the Pats for the championship of the week in pro ball.
With Harrison out it will be Gonzo's time to shine, If things go well , his coming out party.
Good luck to him , I hope he plays well and gets to establish himself in the NFL.
PS I bet on the Pats. Brady and Moss and their D are just too much.
