Cancer sucks, in all shapes/sizes and forms and when you or someone you love is given that news it is completely devestating...

I hate that some people make a joke of this...

I lost both parents to cancer, and someone I've worked with for the last 10 years is facing the same diagnosis as Swayze - pancreatic, and will be lucky to see this summer.

Somehow, I can't see any humor in it.
